SWIMMING POOL SCHEDULE:

Early Bird Swim (weekdays) – 7:30-8:30 a.m. Lessons – (weekdays) 8:30-12 Noon Public Swim (Monday to Sunday) – 1-5 p.m. Public Swim (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday) – 6:30-8:30 p.m. Kids Fun Swim (MONDAY) – 10 & U – (6:30-7:30 p.m.) and 11-14 years (7:30-8:30 p.m.) Adult Fun Swim (WEDNESDAY) – 15 & Over (6:30-8:30 p.m.)

MIDNIGHT SWIM – tentative date – Friday August 19th – 9 p.m. – 12 Midnight for ages 12 & Over. Cost – $4.00/person (season fees do not apply to this event). Watch for updates!

SCUBA DIVING CLINIC – Friday August 12th from 1-3 p.m. Cost – $15.00/participant. Ages 12 & Over ONLY! YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER at the Swimming Pool by August 8th – FIRST COME—FIRST SERVE! IF WE DON’T HAVE ENOUGH REGISTERED BY THE 8TH WE MAY HAVE TO CANCEL THE CLINIC!

POOL CLOSING DATE – August 28th!

STRETCH YOGA CLASSES – Wednesdays FROM 5-6 p.m. at the Community Centre. $3.00/class—-Please bring a Yoga Mat if you have one!

100th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION - was a great success – the Committee would like to extend a HUGE thankyou to everyone who volunteered in any capacity over the weekend or prior to the weekend! We have awesome volunteers!

OLD FASHIONED COMMUNITY PICNIC – Wednesday August 10th from 5-7 p.m. at the Regional Park Campground. Please come and bring a lawn chair—-the hamburgers, hot dogs, beverage and ice cream will be supplied by the Centennial Committee. There will be games, visiting and food.

Community Birthday Calendar Orders are now being accepted. The cost per calendar is $10.00.

NEW Phone Directories are now available at a cost of $5.00. Special thanks to the Credit Union and Co-op for sponsoring the directories.

Summer Play Program – Monday to Friday from 1-4 p.m. for ages 3-12. NO CHARGE! Meet at the Skating Rink Lobby. LAST DAY – Friday August 19th.

PARK CAMPING FEES HAVE INCREASED FOR 2011 SO PLEASE CHECK OUT OUR NEW PRICES UNDER CAMPGROUND INFO!

JUST A REMINDER – the grass area between the Swimming Pool and the Campground is Regional Park Property therefore NO MOTORCYCLES, DIRT BIKES OR ATV’S are allowed in this area or you can be ticketed.
